How to get the most out of your British Candle Co. Soy Candle
The First Burn
When you burn the soy candle for the first time, make sure the wax melts to the edge of the container so that you get a clean melt and use all of the soy wax - prolonging the life of your candle.
The soy wax & wooden wick combination mean that your candle will last longer due to the burning temperature and will burn cleanly using all the wax.
Wooden Wick Care
Trim your wooden wick to 1/8 inch with either a wood wick trimmer or by breaking off the excess wick with your hands. Light the wooden wick close to the soy wax rather than at the tip.
Cotton Wick Care
Trim your cotton wick to 1/4 inch with a wick trimmer before lighting.
Every time you light your soy candle, burn for at least 2 hours but not longer than 4 hours. Burning in a room appropriate for the size of the candle will boost the scent throw.
If not burning your candle, leave in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
